Well, Fall is (supposed to be) in the air. The monsoon rains are about over, the barrel cactus are the last to bloom, and the temperatures should start cooling down soon. So it must be time to start thinking about the El Tour de Tucson fundraising event once again. This will be the 5th time I plan to ride in the 100 mile El Tour de Tucson event, while raising funds for TIHAN, (Tucson Interfaith HIV-AIDS Network). I will commit to doing all the necessary training rides to prepare for this event over the next few months, but I really need some help with the fundraising for TIHAN. Can you help me reach my goal?
TIHAN is a coalition of individuals, businesses, faith communities, and nonprofit groups providing HIV awareness and also support services to help people with HIV to live as well as possible. It is a volunteer-based organization that relies on the community for support as it does not receive government funding. TIHAN is the largest volunteer-based HIV service provider in the state of Arizona, and the largest non-government funded provider as well. It is a 501(c)(3) organization and does not allow any proselytizing or promote any religious beliefs.
