Join me in raising funds and awareness for Barrio Dogs, a remarkable non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the issue of stray and neglected dogs and animal overpopulation in Houston's East End.
Barrio Dogs focuses on education, community outreach, and spaying/neutering efforts to create healthier, safer communities for pets and humans. To further their mission and expand their reach, I’m crowdfunding for the Pedal for Paws fundraiser hosted in celebration of their 14th anniversary. This year also marks my 11th year as a volunteer, former animal foster (and mom to former Barrio Dog, Gemma), and now as a proud member of their Board of Directors.
Through your generous contribution, you can help provide vital resources, such as food and medical care for pets of low-income residents, and support Barrio Dogs' educational programs like Youth & Paws which is critical to improving the future of the animals around us. By teaching children to respect and properly care for pets and other animals, we hope to instill responsible pet ownership values that carry into adulthood.
