Hundreds of thousands of veterans and first responders suffer from various wounds, visible or hidden. Project Hero works to help these healing heroes recover and once again find hope and purpose. All funds raised allow us to continue offering our life-saving veteran and first responder rehabilitation programs.
We aim to hit $15,000 by the end of 2024 Bourbon Burn. This would allow us to bring wounded veterans and/or first responders to various local and national programs where they can receive the rehabilitation cycling therapy they need.
From building and donating adaptive bikes and producing cycling events throughout the nation to supporting community-based rehabilitation and recovery programs and important medical and clinical research, Project Hero is raising awareness of the national PTSD mental health crisis and making a difference in the lives of thousands of our heroes as well as their families and communities.
Since 2008 with the help of Project Hero’s incredible supporters:

All fundraising dollars raised through the Bourbon Burn support Project Hero's veteran & first responder rehabilitation programs and local HUB locations. Project Hero recovery programs are available to wounded veterans and first responders and have proven results in improving the mental and physical health and wellness of our healing heroes.
