Iroquois Hill Runners was founded in 1979 by an avid group of South Louisville Runners. Since that time, the group has evolved to be a group of runners, walkers, and friends. We are dedicated to hosting fun, affordable events for the running community in Louisville’s beautiful Iroquois Park.
All proceeds raised through our partnership with the Kentucky Derby GE Appliances miniMarathon and Marathon will help us fund our community grant program. The objective of the grant is to provide assistance to local elementary, middle, and high school track and cross country programs. These programs promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles for young people, making a meaningful difference in the lives of the next generation.
We have extended numerous grants to local teams, allowing them to acquire essentials such as shoes, uniforms, equipment, and cover race entry fees for children interested in participating.
