Old Fort Strong Endurance Festival

Help me in my effort to raise money for the Old Fort Strong Fund. This fund is dedicated to helping support community members in Old Fort who have lost their homes or had significant damage to their homes and will not receive any help to pay for rebuilding from insurance.  Due to the massive flooding that took place outside of historic flood zones, many homes did not have flood insurance to cover this cost.  In total 50+ homes were lost in McDowell County alone.  The goal is to raise $2,000,000 from this event alone to help in this cause.  All donations will go directly to helping those in need in our community.  

I’m asking friends to pledge $0.25 - $1.00 for every mile that I can cover in 24 hours, with the ultimate goal of reaching at least 100 miles. Of course, any donation is appreciated, but pledging per mile will really help me keep going when things get tough out there overnight. Thank you for your support!
