Hi Friends!
Once again, I am doing RATPOD (Ride Around the Pioneer Mountains in One Day) in Dillon Montana to raise money for Camp Mak-A-Dream, a fun and hopefully soothing camp experience for children with Cancer or who have survived Cancer.
The Camp brings these Kids into a supportive Community so they can share experiences and have some outdoor fun! The stories we have heard of these brave Kids surviving treatment and cancer are truly inspiring and makes you realize that doing the bike ride is nothing compared to their journeys.
I’ll be riding with a group of cycling friends (Linda won’t ride this year as she is still getting back from her back surgery in March), and again we have chosen to ride a 90 mile combination loop of pavement and gravel with about 4000 feet of climbing through the Ruby Mountains.
This annual event is not just about cycling; it's about making a difference in the lives of cancer survivors and their families by supporting Camp Mak-A-Dream. Camp Mak-A-Dream serves as a haven for cancer survivors, providing them with transformative experiences in the breathtaking landscapes of Montana. For over two decades, RATPOD has been the driving force behind Camp Mak-A-Dream's success, making it the largest fundraising event for this extraordinary cause.
