I am excited to participate in the 37th Annual The Ben to the Shore, which supports the Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation!
I have been actively involved in Public Safety & Emergency Services since 2005. I started my journey in Emergency Services with the Clayton Fire Department as a Junior Member, obtaining fire and EMS training. I then became an EMT and in 2009 I started my sworn Law Enforcement Career, where I served honorably until 2018 when I was forced to retire due to a duty connected injury, requiring eight shoulder surgeries and ultimately a shoulder replacement. After my retirement, I still remain actively involved in Emergency Services as a member of my local Fire & Rescue squad, as an EMT, CPR Instructor and Stop the Bleed instructor. I continue my service to others as a Licensed Funeral Director serving families at their time of need. Please consider donating to support our first responders and their families !
The Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation (FBBCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to improving the lives of children in the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey area. We achieve this by providing necessary financial relief for the families of fallen or critically injured first responders (police officers, firefighters, EMTs) and cultivating positive relationships and interactions between police officers and the children in the communities they serve.
