I am excited to participate in the 37th Annual The Ben to the Shore, which supports the Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation!  

This year I am riding after recovering for a personal injury. On December 15, 2023 I completely ruptured my left quad tendon at call to check utilities in a basement. This incident lead to immediate surgery and now over 6 months of Physical Therapy with 2 additional months still scheduled.  My cycling will be limited to the 30 miles this year but I am up for the challenge and excited that I am even riding again.  This recovery experience has been long and hard but I am thankful for the progress I have made and looking towards active duty ahead.  This experience has given me an appreciation for my physical health and has motivated me even more for this cause thats helps others and their families in more critical situations.
