3rd Annual MOONLIGHT 5K is a community 5K on the gorgeous Spessard Holland Golf Course on the evening of Friday, MAY 2nd, 2025. Join us for a professionally timed 5K race complete with prizes, medals, and t-shirts for all runners! The DOLPHIN DASH one-mile race will provide our youngest runners a chance to join in the fun with their friends, along to the cool beats of the DJ on the golf course. This will be our town’s first ever moonlight family 5K, nestled between the beauty of the setting sun on the river and the glow of the rising full moon.
This event is hosted by Coastal Community School, established in May 2014, when a small group of families prayed together, trusted God, and founded a new innovative, alternative way to educate children in Satellite Beach, Florida. Coastal Community School is a hybrid, Christian school combining on campus and in home faith based education. At CCS, we have a passion for serving our local community and have partnered with Spessard Holland Golf Course and the town of Melbourne Beach to provide a fun family fundraising event for our community. Your generous donations and sponsorship will underwrite this event for our community and assist CCS to budget for teacher pay raises in the 2025-2026 school year. In addition, 10% of the proceeds will be used to meet immediate needs of local foster families in Brevard County.
