Team Lugo Sangre is back for 2024 with Eric (Fern)and Vanessa ready to join the 4-day ride with a "few" extra miles (detours and stairs not included!). This will be Vanessa's 6th ride and Fern's 2nd, and they are excited to join in Save One Life's efforts to assist families affected by bleeding disorders internationally.
As parents of children with bleeding disorders, we understand the financial burden that can build up related to medical care, medication, travel, and everything in between. We ride to help families in need and our amazing friends and family in the bleeding disorders community.
Save One Life is a nonprofit organization working to provide people with the tools they need to overcome living with a bleeding disorder and in poverty. We work in 14 developing countries to provide direct financial assistance, and sometimes life-saving factor, to people living in challenging conditions.
With assistance from Save One Life, people with a bleeding disorder or their families can improve their future by having a better quality of life, the ability to start or grow a small business, and access to higher education and camps.
