In 1951, these principles were brought to Gadsden, AL, when seven Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Inc. employees pulled $5.25 from their pockets and chartered Family Savings Credit Union.
Since then, Family Savings has grown to over 70,000 members, with eleven branches in Alabama and Georgia.
